Knightstown Academy
Limited edition signed lithographic print of the historic Knightstown Academy Building built as a Quaker Academy in 1876.
Laurie and I often reminisce of the classes we had together in elementary school and the architectural elements we remember including the tall ceilings and phenomenal woodwork: especially the balusters of the grand stair cases. And who can forget playing kickball in the front playground and competing for the highest leap from the swings? The original pen and ink rendering was conceived during a time of uncertainty concerning the fate of the historic building. Fortunately, it was saved and stands firm today, backed by the infamous Hoosier Gym. There are a few prints still available.
